No its not officially pertaining to exo even though it is a project about exo and actually reaching out to the members. I have tried reaching out to a mod but hasnt been replied back to so I took it with my own hands to post if it was to be allowed. Having been a member here for years, i have seen posts like this done here so i thought this would be a great place to talk/share with anyone who is interested. If the mods feel the need to delete this then fine.

the boys doing a truly global tour would be great. I'm not a fan of the "oh but I care about exo as human beings so they should rest!!" disclaiming narrative so that distracted me a bit. the decision to make tour stops is certainly a complicated one with multiple factors, the biggest being whether it would make money, not social media buzz, which has a tenuous connection with monetization potential. I'm happy to support this -- it costs nothing (aha!) and exo'luxion is a great concert that should get as wide an audience as possible, but I will say this whole initiative is a touch naive.
There were many who were concerned about EXO's health which led to the decision of putting that bit in. While I do feel like they should be able to get the rest, at the same time I am very aware that it is a business within the music industry and other things that factor in that,
While I also agree that this is a bit naive as a fangirl, I just thought socially, this could be a good way to bring some sort of attention. Social Media has become such a big influence in how idols/celebrities promote themselves and is also a small gateway for where fans can have their voices heard as well. Social Media is even capable of making wishes/dreams/pleas happen too so just thinking of it in that matter, I thought this would be a good idea!

thank you for taking my comment respectfully <3 I was being an unnecessary downer for what is a well-meaning, uplifting thing. i find myself sometimes wishing this fandom could grow up and get a stronger grip on reality. i admit my version of reality is not authoritative, so perhaps for slightly different reasons I'm totally curious what people think of this project too!
the delicate balance between work/rest is personal and tricky for fans to navigate on behalf of their faves. there's no black and white - the presumptuousness cuts both ways. I for one am grateful for exo's level of activity and take it positively. the boys have given me every reason to believe that they enjoy being so employed. my issue with the "let exo rest" refrain is that it's a simplistic opinion under a fashionable veil of noble concern. in more extreme cases, it's used to dismiss exo fans as numb lemmings completely sold out to Mr SM's diabolical ploys. i know that wasn't your intention, so we're cool.
