I can help with that. I don't have any special powers either and there's little I can do to contribute otherwise.

I think it would be best not to limit studies to just the fauna. Examining the local flora might also bring about ways to help us survive in terms of finding alternate food sources, antitoxins, and fauna repellent.

I agree completely. Do you have any experience in flora research?

Before any samples are gathered, we must make sure that people take precautions handling the flora. I wouldn't be surprised if they have some nasty defense mechanisms considering the charms of the fauna.

I don't have any formal experience out on the field, but I've studied the precautions and procedures.

Definitely. Does the island have the resources for people to conduct this kind of research in terms of equipment?

Not that I know of, but that only means we need to get creative. Is there an old pet supply store in the mall? If we are able to acquire live samples, we'll need a place to house them safely.
