Stats Question

Hey I have a stats question for people here. I have a data set that I am trying to do analyses on and I'm getting confused because my advisor keeps telling me to do different things. When do you decide between doing an ANOVA and a regression (I mean if you have variables that you could either just use or that you could group)?

Lol,

Yeah I know. Some of this was the freakout of realizing that I have 1 month to get in the first draft of my masters and am only NOW starting the analyses due to data collection issues. Oh and both me and my advisor will be gone at SRCD in boston for all of spring break week.

I think using the ANOVA works best...I think in this case I could use regression but I'm not really sure it adds anything since we are really only testing the effects of 1 IV on 3 DV's while controlling for 1 covariate. ((Heh I sound almost like I know what I'm talking about!)

Thanks for the reassurance. I know its all going to get done, I think the wierd thing is that it just feels like my head is going to explode!
