Nera 4: For J'lor

Dec 26, 2006 19:57

Turn 1, Seventh Pass. Threadfall has come, and cut down Analia. It may as well have taken J'lor with her, and in his absence, Derek and Nera discuss what to do. Derek must make something of this opportunity; and he must make Nera, somehow, his willing accomplice. He must give her a reason.

This is how he does it. )

There are few words to describe the awesomeness of this scene. It's such a voyeuristic (sp) glimpse into the lives of these two I almost felt like I was spying. However, it tells so much about them. The walls are there, but once in a while it's nice to peek through the chinks and see the people behind the people we see everyday. Nice work. It was just awesome.

I cannot believe I did not comment on this sooner. Especially since I devoured the scene with glee when it was posted.

OMG. If Derek were just a /little/ more socially aware he'd be a /real/ danger. As it is we are saved because he is just that little bit clueless.

And poor Nera. What she needs to do is just kick both men to the curb, appoint lieutenants of her own, and rule! (I am a very good court jester and have reasonable rates.)

Derek and Nera are like Zoma's mommy and daddy! Family! ;)

Hang on just a minute. I've read the vignettes. I know what happens to Zoma's mommy and daddy IRL. I do not know that I wish this parallel to be drawn.

I /love/ them! And Mommy was sleeping when we played. It's not like you'd feel anything. Much.
