Today I was at the park and this couple sat close by with a cute little baby girl. Not to keen on kids, over here, so whatever. But then kid started squirming and the mom went, "Lilah, calm down." Wow. Cuddy's voice is so clear here, I can really feel what's going on for her. I'm a sucker for Infarction Fics, though I try not to be. They make me so sad, but so happy at the same time. Very confusing.

Anyway, loved this, really adored the way House thought she was Stacy. So apt.

I feel like I'm being deliberately cruel, but I just can't get enough of Guilty!Fic.

Thank you! Poor Cuddy. I like that she's still a tough ass, though.

*siiigh* I wish sometimes I was a fan of angst so I could enjoy pieces like this, that draw against the emotions like a sharp razor and leave a little scar on the heart of a reader. It's not my preferred genre, and yet this little story is so beautifully jagged and painful I just had to tell you, it's powerful.

Not a big fan of angst, either! I prefer comedy, but every once in a while, you just gotta :).

Glad you liked it!
