How Far Would YOU Go?

Oct 26, 2009 22:19

Phew, the recent discussion on the Singapore fans getting together to follow G has been quite heated.
I do have to say that the most recent post on dears did cross the line.
It's a little different for the individual fans to try to get a glimpse of him, especially if it's possibly a once-in-a-lifetime chance like that.
But to get together with a ( Read more... )

Oh, I didn't know you deleted it...

Well, thanks Ashu-chan. I already knew your opinions on the matter, but I still wanted to hear from you. (^_^)
In a way, I think that your love for G is so pure that you don't need to physically see him. I guess you always carry him in your heart.

Hmmm, Japanese kids scaring you already? Watch out, or they might pull Dragon Ball Z on you. XD

Yeah, there should be a rule that limits the number of responses that are basically just saying "Hell yeah, I agree! That was totally BAD!" (^_^;

Haha, I can tell that you live by pretty strict self-imposed rules. That's pretty rare. =)

You should only let them take your pictures if they promise to send them to you, mm-hm.

You know, I think the amount of people who feel the need to publicly give themselves a pat on the back in those kind of posts annoys me more than anything else. "Oh, I can't stand THOSE kind of fans! I would *never* do anything like that, I just think it's all so ridiculous. I'm a GOOD FAN". And of course they all have to go jump on the offender just to make sure everyone knows what a GOOD FAN they are. -_ ( ... )

Yeah. Everyone who was posting was all excited the first time, which probably encouraged her to continue, and if anyone had a problem with it at that stage, they kept their mouths shut. Then one or two people point out she's gone too far and then everyone is suddenly like "I TOTALLY THOUGHT THAT ALL ALONG". I really wish someone had politely stepped in earlier ( ... )

Right. I have nothing against those individual commenters, of course, but I just can't stand the mentality of group bullying, for the lack of better words. And I still can't understand why on earth people, if they have a problem with her post, can't just send her a pm discretely. If she gets enough pms, she'll get the point, too. Too many seem to enjoy the opportunity to be "right", like you said, rather than being respectful and kind ( ... )

Eh, to be honest she kinda asked for it. I dont condone being rude to her but... you know, you put yourself out there, that's whats gonna happen.

I myself might consider following at a very far distance just to gaze at His Loveliness (XD) but I would never sneak into a venue and I would only approach him if I really happened to cross paths with him somewhere unexpected.

That said, I do understand how heart-stopping the very thought can be... I was shaking and almost threw up at Tokyo FM. Hyperventilated and almost passed out on the way to the concerts XD;;

Yeah, you're right. I just wish the reality were a bit different. You know, somebody points out that she's gone too far, a few people politely follow suit after that, and THE END. No wank. That just doesn't seem to happen very often. =S

Oh, can I gaze at His Holy Loveliness together with you from far away? Pretty please? I'll share my binoculars. XD

I know how emotional it was for you at the concerts. Man, what is this man!? ....Oh, yeah....

I would never follow Gackt around like that ever. That would be so disrespectful. And I know that any Gackt fan would love to meet him, but I think that was going too far. I mean look at it this way, if you stalked him like that, I'm sure he would remember you, but what if you got the chance to actually meet him later on, would you really want him to remember you from when the time that you stalked him? I sure wouldn't ( ... )

Thanks for your comment! *waves*

Yeah, I guess he probably has rather complicated feelings toward his zealous fans who have the tendency to stalk him (I'm not including full-blown stalkers here, since I'm sure he hates THAT). I mean, I'm sure he loves all his fans, but he hates the "act" of stalking, considering how it drove his ex-wife to the point of neurosis.

Being able to talk to him casually (if such thing is even possible XD) on a chance encounter sounds like a dream come true, doesn't it? I'm too much of a chicken, I'd probably turn around and run away, though!! XP
But yeah, if I could see him just once in person, and really see him as flesh and blood, that would be so amazing...

Long comments are always welcome here. Thanks!! <33

I know you do, Dyan. (^_^) *hugs*
Let's just keep our hopes up, OK?

Exactly. We're all fans. Difference of opinions are fine, no problem, but let's not be carried away, you know?
I know you've never "bashed" anybody, and I think that's so wonderful of you, considering some tough times you've been through here on LJ. <333
