Author/Artist Note(s): A slight twist on the request, which was for Severus to do something romantic to woo Hermione. Because Severus didn't stop doing romantic gestures even after they were married.

The following was found in the papers of Headmaster Professor Snape after his death last week.
For our 25th Wedding Anniversary, 16 June 2045
The years cannot in any way report
The joy which your true love has given me
And those who know us, those can clearly see
That love we hold which others still distort.
Though many said too distant were our shores,
That all the years between us would us part
Yet you entranced my mind, my eyes, my heart,
And most of all my soul, and made it yours.
You've given me a light when all was dark,
And brought me back to life when I would die
And stood beside me, held my head up high,
When those around me ne'er forgot my mark.
When time has gone and we pass through the Veil
Though Death be near, yet our love will prevail.

Headmaster Severus Snape married Professor Hermione Granger in June 2020, following the breakup of her previous marriage. Professor Granger died in the Hogwarts Train Crash of 2038. The couple are survived by three children and five grandchildren.
