Oh goodness, that stinks! I tried to buy an mp3 (several times, since it didn't seem to be working right) last spring, and my bank shut down my debit card until I called to tell them it was an accident . . . I hope that everything gets sorted out for you!

i kind of wish my bank HAD shut down my debit card. the customer service person i talked to said it was odd that they hadn't.

you don't have a stop payment option or anything? oh dear.

That sucks. But _asriel_ is right...usually you can stop payment on stuff like that, especially if you have a major bank.

This is a lot after the fact, but did you try to buy your tickets off thetrainline.com? if not, that site was what i used to book tickets all over the uk, and it mostly worked out well. you have to book your tickets way in advance, if you want them cheap and conveinent, and maybe think about getting a student rail card. so, yep, thetrainline.com

hope your finances get sorted!

love,

norah
