I really hope that you're well. I miss this place, and this blog - even as I very rarely visit LiveJournal these days, instead staying with Dreamwidth and Tumblr.
Revisiting this place feels a little like visiting a crumbling ruin - a house after the apocalypse, the tea sets still laid out as if waiting for their owner's return.
The thin layer of dust that coats each surface, undisturbed.
This place had a huge impact on me when I was younger. The exposure to so many different writing styles, about what writing poetry could be - not to mention the subject matter of many of them. I can still quote the first line of many, carry them with me.
Salinger, 'never tell anyone anything' is a group of words I would like to wrap up in canvas and sink to the bottom of the HUDSON -
But I am afraid I know too much to kill myself -
Your greatest mistake was to act the drama as if you were alone - Anyway, I digress

I have visited 'EXCEPTINDREAMS' often over the last two years and discovered many wonderful things. I just wanted to say thank you and to let you know what a difference the poems you chose have made to my life. I do hope all is very well with you.
