we find poems. Check your garage, the odd sock
in your drawer, the person you almost like, but not quite.

Thank you for this; reminded me of Macleish's "Ars Poetica" and a few other poems about the craft of poetry, including Marianne Moore's. You'd read them before? :)

I actually haven't. It's strange, you mention Marianne Moore, a poet I've never heard of before, and then I go to an art gallery with an exhibit on American poets and there she is! A photo and a verse on poetry too! So any suggestions?
