this is one of my favorite poems of all time. the personification of death as a giggling girl who goes against everything you've ever been conventionally taught to think death is is so strong. it puts death into a lighter perspective, and that last idea of "listening to the voices of the living" as they fight and sing (two passionate qualities that voices have) is so great and beautiful. i just love this.
