I normally adore Nikki Giovanni, but there is something about the first few lines of this poem that makes me intensely uncomfortable. I think it's just the phrase "god's sperm" haha.

Normally I love her poems, but this one I just found okay. I found it more humorous (having a lighter tone) than anything, it wasn't like it is a bad poem though.
