Congrats on your acceptance! I actually hadn't even read "Comparisons" yet, courtesy of weekend work schedules, but I agree that it's really lovely. I think this poem is more thought-provoking though (as well as lovely in a different way), and I think maybe thought-provoking-ness is a big part of what drives people to comment?

Out of all the poets in my country, I enjoy reading Arkaye Kierulf's work the most. If you enjoyed this, read "For Example, A Flower" also by him, you will be blown away. You can probably find it on Google. :)

He is Filipino, btw. :D
