I've always wondered which was hugs and which was kisses too. My whole life I thought o was kisses, because of puckered (I hate that word) lips and x for hands crossed on the back for hug, but someone told me o was for hugs because of arms around someone's back. lol
I like the poem anyway :)

It's definitely x = kisses, o = hugs. At least, that's how I've always heard it...

loved the poem, for Emily Dickinson do you think? x = kisses, o = hugs is how I learned it as well.
