I was angry for about the first 15min of the show because they just blew off the shooting and then I was like, "Well, they totally just ignored the formula. No coma, no (real) angst and a great scene in the bathroom. I want Booth's tub! I was thinking it was Sweet until they made the conclusion so soon. I was very upset that it was Zack but at the same time it makes so much sense. I'm kinda seeing some sort of Silence of the Lambs deal with him in the future.

Oh yes, I forgot, I loved the bathroom scene. "Why are you wearing a hat that dispenses beer?"

It does make a certain kind of sense. I was wondering if they might tie it to Zack's recent time in Iraq, kind of a PTSD kind of thing. I really hope they do keep the character around.

They both turned me into sobbing messes last night! It was nuts!

Both were excellent but I missed the emotional power of both as the shows were constantly overwhelmed by the sounds of cake mixing in the kitchen.

Well, cake IS pretty distracting...though, no, I probably would have still been a weepy mess. =)

I think the high point for me wasn't the note from Amber, but just Wilson walking into his bedroom and seeing the brand new bed he'd just bought for them and just... stopping for a second. The note was just icing for me after that.

Well, the show was just full of notes like that. It's like I couldn't keep up with all the "Stop, you're killing me" moments.

I hope that Eric Millegan is not leaving the cast.

Just read an interview where he confirmed that he is leaving, but might come back for guest spots (if anyone goes to visit him in the psychiatric ward). He said he only found out Zack was the apprentice 2 weeks before they went back to shooting after the strike. Apparently, thanks to the strike, the PTSD plot line got dropped. :(

And damn, House just killed me. I don't cry at moves/tv usually, and I cried. I liked Amber and Wilson together, because she was good for him ... now what's he going to do for an anchor with her gone and his feelings about House all a-jumble?

That's too bad. I really do hope there are guest spots. I wonder how the cast reacted when they got the news about who the apprentice really was? Oh, and interesting to know there was a PTSD storyline that had to get cut. Damn. Stupid strike.

I didn't like Amber much when she was "auditioning" for House's team but I did like her and Wilson. It's going to be an interesting season ahead!
