Monday, out of the blocks

Things are zipping right along for a Monday morning, which is nice. Just got it arranged so we can have our Health Insurance Guy come down here to tell us about our options this year, instead of all of us abandoning the office to drive the 50-mile roundtrip back to Columbia. I hate having to drive up there during the workday just to drive back down

See, usually my period is not too bad. I mean, not great, but I get some cramps on day 1 and even fewer on day 2 and that's about it. But sometimes there are months that are different, and lucky me, this was one. And it was deceptive, because first thing in the morning either it wasn't that bad or I was so tired and unused to being up at 3 a.m. that I just didn't notice them. It wasn't until about 10 a.m. that I started feeling COMPLETELY HOMICIDAL and by then we were miles from shore and had two more hours of boating ahead of us. ARGH. So just terrible, terrible timing on this one.

Since voicemail picked up right away I figured it was off or uncharged. It's okay - my heart really wasn't in it this year anyway. And it doesn't change much from year to year so I doubt I missed some new fascinating thing. Maybe next year I'll make an actual plan. =)
