Spidersweb said pretty much the same thing. I'm going to try it for about 2 months and see if I get any results. If I don't, then I'll try the points plan instead. It does concern me that it doesn't really limit portions on the core plan, because my problems has usually been a mixture of eating unhealthily AND too-big portions. Two months. Let's see what I can do in two months :)
Dude, don't blame portions on yourself - this is America: Land of the Giant Portions! The only thing you can blame is your parents, if they're the type who taught you to "clean your plate." Really, the portions are made for like 3 people, so the previous mindset (of Midwesterners especially) is a ticket to disaster. Even the healthy food is portioned to like sumo wrestlers - you know, those 2lb. salads? Really, all you have to do is just undo the cultural damage and NOT "clean your plate." :) (Or, what mom and I do, which is share an appetizer and skip to dessert - tee hee) You can still eat out, just SPLIT stuff with the hubby and/or take the rest home. I wish you much luck, will not begrudge you your growling, and know that you'll do great! :) **support hugs**

You can still eat out, just SPLIT stuff with the hubby and/or take the rest home.
