stupid library & their stupid books

last friday i returned all the books i checked out ages ago for my thesis. there were eight of them which i checked against the list they provide you with online. put all eight books in a bag and head to the library. i dropped them off without incident.

and then today i get an email, claiming that New essays on the Catcher in the Rye is still

it was made by wonder_rock and posted in some icon community. it's basically just one of dave shrigley's pieces from his book kill your pets. i'm sure you can have it but give wonder a notice that you're doing so.

and i have the opposite problem ... my account has some hole in it so that i don't get the charges i'm supposed to get when i turn crap in late. ;)
