Lately

Being housebound finally caught up with me. Friday morning was spectacularly beautiful - the glowing crescent moon and the morning star hanging in the sky. It made me want to run out and lie in a field somewhere (there is one directly across the street from me, but this pregnant lady isn't climbing over any fences. Plus, I'd probably freak the ( Read more... )

You're in the home stretch....just think, once baby is born, and spring arrives there will be many walks in warm sunshine with a little one strapped to your chest and B skipping along beside....when you have that freedom of movement again, this last week will be but a distant memory.

It must be really hard, but you're so close now. Your baby will be here so soon. :)

Some days are harder than others, but mostly it's not too bad. Yeah it's strange to think that in a week or two or less (who knows) there will be a new member of our family!

Oh, parallel universes. I too was missing walks and earth, but couldn't handle the pain if I went. So I was pretty much housebound these last few months.

I'm half way through your birth story and the beginning feels eerily familiar! I've been having little contraction moments here and there. Lately every other or every two nights I'm getting the Super Achey Hips which I remember from the week B was born. Baby keeps flipping side to side.

I'm also *really* struggling with Bennett. This weekend it really kicked in. It's been hard not being able to play hard with him - we're a very physical family and I just can't rough house with him like I used to. But the last two days he's been awake SUPER early (4 am yesterday, ai yi yi) and Needs Mama. Must read stories and it's constantly 'No' and 'Don't' as he tries to climb all over me. And all I want to do is curl up by myself.

Next Sunday I am walking and brewing up the raspberry tea myself. One more week.

You're so close!! Spend a few moments working on your own soul before you get any closer.
