90lb halibut. My word! I honestly can't even imagine. The only halibut I've ever seen is already sliced & prepped in the grocery store. That's sad, I know.

You make Alaska sound so beautiful.

How awesome. And I really can't imagine how the touristy part can be worse--did they push out the few non-tourist businesses, or build more stores?

Oh, it's just awful. Remember where the Armadillo used to be? That area is wall to wall jewelry stores. And there are many more large ship docks. It's just ugly. More and more businesses close up during the off season too. Bleh.
