Glorious sleep

Today is the Dormition of the Theotokos (if you're Eastern Orthodox) or the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (if you're Roman Catholic). We have been really spoiled of late, with 5-6 hour stretches. Now it's down to 4 but he's flailing about and muttering three times or so in that period. Not waking himself up, but waking us up. I know. I shouldn't complain. Some one always has it worse! ;)

The guy who cleaned our carpets yesterday said both his kids started sleeping through the night the week they came home. :-/

Ouch. I didn't sleep through the night until I was nearly two year old. Maybe the carpet guy's kids were tied down and had timed formula drips? Or a nanny? Or maybe they prayed nightly to the Virgin Mary... that's gotta be it.
