So pretty. and it works in Photoshop CS2, all except for Copy Merged, which is done with some key combination I can only do through muscle memory and not mind memory, ahaha~ I like your new username! ♥~
I think you can actually, I'm using CS3 right now and the option's still there xD You have to Select All before being able to copy merged, but it does work.
Regardless, lovely tutorial, Ryin! The effect works so well on the images I tried it with, and with a couple small variations I came up with these:
