So pretty. and it works in Photoshop CS2, all except for Copy Merged, which is done with some key combination I can only do through muscle memory and not mind memory, ahaha~

... I had no idea you can't Copy Merged in CS2 :O ... Merge Visible, Copy and Retry might work? ^^;;;;;

I think you can actually, I'm using CS3 right now and the option's still there xD You have to Select All before being able to copy merged, but it does work.

Regardless, lovely tutorial, Ryin! The effect works so well on the images I tried it with, and with a couple small variations I came up with these:

i´m using cs3 too and for this waht i do is:

ctrl+A : select all
and then: crtl+shift+c+v
