I wouldn't mind them if he didn't have his trousers tucked into them. Doesn't seem like the right venue for that look, IMO. Now if they were the Obi-Wan Kenobi boots, that would be a whole different story. ;)
I've always gotten the impression that he tries very hard not to smile at these kinds of events, though don't ask me why he'd do that. Sometimes I swear I can almost see him struggling not to show any teeth; it's odd.
Anyway, you're welcome for the pics. Glad you enjoyed them. :)
It's not actually the boots themselves I mind, it's the fact that he's tucked his trousers into them (or rolled them up; whatever). I don't care for that sort of look at this kind of event. But nevermind. Ewan is Ewan and that's why we love him. :D
I love the footwork, I can't stand chicken hair! I love this man, he is beautiful, but whoever told him that super short on the sides and sticking up on the top was how he should wear his hair needs to use my reading glasses. Ewey baby go back and watch your early movies and see how gorgeous your hair was! Thanks for sharing these great photo's I loved them even though I had to hair rant.
LOL. Nancy, I totally understand the hair rant because I hate the shaved sides too. I wish he'd quit doing that! The only saving grace for me here is that it's not as short on top as it was before, like around the time of Haywire. God, that was hideous. Terrible thing to do to such a lovely head and face.
