"Toast to Freedom" is a collaborative single for Amnesty International which Ewan has put his voice to along with 50 other artists. The single comes out on iTunes 7th May but the music video is available now :D
I don't know what it is with Ewan of late, but he is certainly getting my full attention. He seems so comfortable with himself, there's a new self-assurance about him that is just intoxicating and sexy as hell. ;) Thank you for this, it's lovely. It's getting too late for me to explore backward, but I now you posted some wonderful caps of that documentary show he was in. Mountain something. I'll have to keep that for another time. ::sigh::
G'nite Clare, thanks for the wonderful pics! *squeeze*
ah no worries, RL always manages to get in the way of fangirling!
he is looking great and i think you're right, he seems more confident and happy in the past couple of years. there were a couple of years before that, just after he moved to LA, when he really seemed down and pissed off at the media. but he seems to have gone back to being comfortable with everything now which is very nice to see :)
anyway, hope enjoy all the yummy goodies when you get the time ;D
Thank you so much, Clare. I thoroughly enjoyed the videos and pictures. The song is great. It does make me a bit sad to see Levon Helm; that was most likely his last performance before he passed.
I'm so proud of our Ewan for his generous, caring heart. <3
glad you enjoyed the videos and pics. it's a great song, although I'm afraid I don't recognise anyone other than Ewan in it.... even the names didn't sound familiar *hides back under a rock*
he is so caring. and i'm glad he's still got some other things to keep him busy now that Corrections has been cancelled, hope he can find a new movie to film over the summer instead. and did you see he's in Korea for 2 days now promoting the department store that he did ads for a few months ago. hoping for some more pictures from that!
I don't recognize a lot of those people, but I do know Levon Helm from The Band. He died recently from cancer. There was a movie/documentary about their last tour before they broke up, called The Last Waltz, which my husband has watched about a million times . . . I remember Levon from that. Plus, The Weight is one of my all-time favorite songs. Levon was their drummer and sang lead on that song. One of my fantasy boyfriends, Jensen Ackles, also sang it at a convention in Rome. Love when my fantasy boyfriends (read: Jensen and Ewan) have great musical skills! :D
