Yes, I think we do Char. It's the Eastern seaboard thing... We have a LOT of maple trees and the colours are just fantastic, not to mention the delicious syrup they make from them.

I think the maples really have the best colors, especially the reds.

Gorgeous colors! Makes me wonder why so many Canadians visit my area for the fall foliage. Not that I'm complaining. The views are stunning.

I think it's the proximity of the ocean added to the foliage... We have more mountains here and do attrack plenty of tourist for the fall colours in the Laurentians. Mainly ski resorts offer lifts up to the top and spectacular views!

It's a wonderful season and one that I had forgotten about when I lived in Vancouver for 7 years. The colours there being mainly green (all year round) and some browns (due deciduous trees). Very few bright colours and NO maples to speak of, other than Japanese maples which don't even come close.
