I feel bad for the poor bastards who actually boarded when asked and had to not only sit there on the plane, but couldn't watch the game.

I was thinking exactly that. I wouldn't even have minded being delayed; but at least I should be able to watch the game since that's what everyone else was doing!

In actuality, I missed the winning goal because I was waiting outside the hotel to get a shuttle to the airport. And I was waiting outside instead of in the lobby watching the game because the previous shuttle (which was really the same person; it's a short loop) drove right by and didn't even stop.

Oh well.
