Another rec hockey season in the books

Since my last update in April we lost a few, but won a few, and managed to clinch first place with a game to go, guaranteeing we wouldn't have to face the Blues in the first round of the 2-round playoffs

In my years of playing rec sports, mostly softball, the thing that is most prevalent and annoying is poor sportsmanship among winners. In softball, it's common for teams to take 3 bases on errors, or engage in obnoxious takeout sliding when up by as many as 20 runs (or more). I'm sure there's a psychological reason for this, but I haven't discerned it yet

The ref probably saw what was happening, and turned a blind eye. Most former goalies would, I think. I would.
