Southwest
removed a passenger from a flight for wearing what they thought was an offensive t-shirt.
Now, I believe that as a private entity, Southwest is entitled to bar people from its flights for whatever reasons it chooses (mostly), but I think this is pretty uncool. "Others might be outraged" is pretty pathetic justification too (along the lines of schools barring students from wearing pro-gay clothing "for your own protection"). And it is particularly lame that they attempted to pass the buck by fabricating an FAA regulation which the FAA says doesn't exist.
