I heard that Philadelphia couldn't implode the Spectrum because it's above a rail line, or something like that.

I remember finding out about gliding snakes about a year ago and especially fearing the slope of their glide path, which is 1. Hence, that 90-foot tree that you're walking by (in the jungle) has to be at least 90 feet away for a snake to be able to land on you. Thankfully, they don't seem to be the venomous or constrictive kind.

My last international arrival was in March this year in Chicago and procedures had not changed: Immigration, then customs, re-check bags, then continue flight. Passengers with their final destination in Chicago did not have to go through security again.
In fact, as in many airports, the international terminal was separate from the others and arriving passengers would leave that terminal without security check and would only go through further checks when entering the other terminals.
