I thought Ep. I was bad but bearable, so I went to watch II. That was awful

After Ep. I Natalie Portman was Dead to Me for quite a while, until V for Vendetta redeemed her damned ass quite gloriously.
Any realistic fan realizes that they always WERE rather poorly/campily acted, but the better the graphics and production got for Ep's I&II, the more the wooden acting sticks out.
Every sci-fi fan has their personal When Did Lucas Sell Out His Vision? answer. For me it was when he chopped his Wookiees in half and made them Ewoks so he could sell more Happy Meals for Ep. VI. Like the Godfather franchise, it should have been '2 and done.'
When is Attack of the Killer Tomatoes going to hit 3-D?

I successfully exercised self control and did not see Matrix III (I called friends as soon as I got out of Matrix II warning them not to go see it.)
I'm not going to see the Star Wars 3D movies of my own free will.
