So recently, the local SPCA busted an animal warehouse that was selling exotics and seized like 800 hedgehogs. There are still 400ish at the SPCA. On Tues and Weds I am going to volunteer to clean cages and feed/water them. HOLY FUCK that is a lot of hedgehogs. I am so glad I can help. Maybe I can adopt one or two, who knows. I would like to. Isn't at the SPCA in Arlington?

I probably can't have any, but if you get info on how I *WOULD* adopt a pair, can you let me know?

Can you have two living together, that are the same sex without them fighting? just curious. I don't know much about them.

Maybe, it's off 30 and Hampton Rd but the actual city for the address is Dallas. I will definitely get info because I would like to adopt some myself. More than likely you can go to the Hedgehog Welfare Society website http://www.hedgehogwelfare.org/ and fill out an application and they'll let you know, but I will also ask when I go in tomorrow ( ... )

Also, if none of these are up for adoption (I know a lot of them are going to Canada as well as up to New Jersey, some went to Oregon, Houston and Colorado) there is a website dfwhedgehogs.com and they have hedgies for adoption sometimes for $75. There is a whole hedgehog store in Carrollton actually but I haven't been there yet for reasons unrelated to hedgehogs, heh.
