Wonderful. So poingnant. Hughes knowing and giving Roy what he needs with both tenderness and understanding just makes me melt. The sex was scorching hot and I like you not making it romantic and sweet. Just best friends taking care of each other. Beautiful.
Hughes and Roy's relationship is just beautiful like that. They're best friends above anything else, the romance factor and the sex are just bonuses. And I'm really glad you find the smut hot. XD
Ohhh. I loved this. Especially Roy's hysterical babbling of all the different elements. That stuck with me. It seemed very in character for Roy, and it's heartbreaking to see him so undone.
It's official, everyone needs a Hughes to comfort them.
Roy's thought processes aren't very stable right then. He's trying very, very hard not to remember the scene, and so he focused on all the chemical reactions. I'm glad that you find it in-character for him to do that.
Wonderfully written. If this is the first real smut you've written, then you're very talanted. Hope you write more smut. I'll definitely read it. Go you!
sdlfkjr! nnghsldfkj the porn. I flail. Also, the tasty angst and the tastier Hughes being there for Roy and knowing what he /needs/. oh oohhhh. \o/
A pained look came into Roy’s eyes the very second the words left Maes’s mouth, and he instantly regretted them. But Roy squeezed his eyes shut, and when he reopened them, the look was gone.
A growl: “Yes, Captain Hughes.”
That's so alternately ouch and guh!
He felt ridiculously pleased when he realized, not for the first time, that Roy’s head fit perfectly against the curve of his own jaw.
And I'm such a great big squishy thing that I went MELT over that.
...and totally what lessien said, the rattling off the elements = awesome.

The Roy-muse demanded the first one, and the Hughes-muse demanded the second. I take no credit. -grins-
Glad you like! That four years of chemistry has some use!
