It's definitely an odd feeling waking up at 3 am. Usuually it's "oh, it's 3 am, i should probably head to bed." Turnabout is a bitch I suppose. Curiosity: What does checking on the lice involve? I would think you could do nothing more than look at them, "Are they still alive? Okay." Can you tell if they are about to die, and if so somehow stop it? I have all faith in your future vetirinary (no good idea how to spell that word) skills, but rescucitating (again, too lazy to look up the spelling) lice seems beyond mortal powers.

veterinary - and i don't think he resuscitates them... he just lets them die, cuz he's cruel like that

i'm cruel...i put them into glass tubes and into different incubators with no food/water and watch them die (i'm calculating how long it takes for them to die when they are removed from the chicken)
