Hello all!

Our esteemed Mod pushkin666 is not well at the moment (quick, someone send Crowley around for... moral support?) so I'm posting these on her behalf.

Evil!Sam Roulette will start posting soon! So, if you claimed a prompt, it is time to consult below the familiar guidelines before posting.

Note that there is still time to claim a prompt! Comment here to claim one. You must have the fanwork ready for the posting period this weekend but the minimums are quite low...

Posting Guidelines

VERY IMPORTANT: You must be a member of the evilsam_spn community in order to post here. Not just to 'watch' the community but actually join it. You can leave later if you want but in order to post for the challenge, you have to join.

Now that that's out ouf way, let's talk posting guidelines. Please adhere to the below as I will ask you to edit your posts if this is not the case.

Q: When can I post my fanwork?
A: Posting period is 13-15 of February. We will close posting on Monday the 16th. Note that we're operating on GMT.

Q: Where can I post my fanwork?
A: Anywhere you like as long as you post here too with a link to the fanwork and provide appropriate header information.

Q: I want to post my fanwork directly to this community, not just link to it. Can I do that?
A: Yes. However, if you are posting directly to the community, please remember to place all fanworks under a cut. Things outside the cut should only include header information, and any teaser quotes/small graphics.

Q: Hold on, it sounds like you're saying I can't post my 200 icons/wallpaper/other large item outside a cut.
A: Yeah, that's exactly what we're saying. Please exercise common sense and consideration and place any large items under a cut/behind a link. You can include up to three icons as a sample or a small thumbnail graphic as a teaser.

Q: I have several fanworks to post, what should I do?
A: You need to post them all during your assigned posting dates during which you can make as many posts to the community as you need. Maximum people claimed was about 3 prompts so posting them separately won't be a problem.

Q: How about that header information you mentioned?

Header information for fic:

Title:
Author:
Prompt Song:
Characters/Pairing:
Rating: The two systems typically used for fanfics are the MPAA and Fiction Ratings and lately also the AO3 rating system, any of those is fine.
Wordcount:
Warnings: As per standard fandom practice, things that you must warn for include character death, rape/non-con, under-age sex, graphic violence, specific sexual kinks and anything else you think might be triggering/offensive/problematic. If you want to preserve the surprise, you can always hide the warning, see the textbox below for coding. Do not be an idiot and warn for slash or het as neither are things that need warning for and the 'Pairing'a information should tell the reader everything they need to know about that.
Summary:

Feel free to also include e.g. Genre (e.g. AU/case fic/romance/pwp), a standard disclaimer or any additional author notes.

Header information for non-fic fanworks:
Feel free to adapt the fic header to suit your needs. Warnings, if applicable, must be included.

Q: How do I hide a warning that is also a spoiler?
A: Use the coding in the textbox below:

style="color:#666;background-color:#666;" title="This is a warning that
is also a spoiler. Highlight to read.">YOUR SPOILER GOES
HERE

Q: What's this about AO3 tags I hear...?
A: On AO3 you can tag your work with 'Community: evilsam_spn' and for the purposes of this challenge we warmly recommend you also tag it with 'International Fanworks Day 2015'

Q: I still have questions!
A: This is why the gods of LJ created the comment function, ask away!

HAPPY POSTING EVERYONE!
