I'm sorry about your computer! Mine got wiped last semester too (completely new hard drive, actually) and now I can't read Chinese or Japanese anymore either. I know how to install it, but you need your XP disc that came with the laptop. Mine is at home. :( If you have yours, though, or get it soon, the option is under the Accessibility category on the control panel. You can find instructions online! :)
my mom said she mailed all the CDs yesterday, so i'll try it out when i get it. i can run the CDs over to you afterwards, so we can look at chinese/japanese on our comps!
btw, we should do a D1E dinner sometime. i miss seeing you around!
YES d1E dinner! I know you guys dine at the marketplace sometimes, but I never get the 411 ahead of time! We should go to the caf so it will be a true d1e dinner like old times. Plus I'm bored of the UC & MP. :)
Thanks re: the CDs! I don't know if they'll work on my comp if they have registered numbers or something, but I do miss being able to write in Japanese, and I also hate seeing all the sqaures and question marks on Wikipedia, hahaha.
