From the Police Blotter:

June 1, 1:58 p.m., Rope Ferry Road

Hanover Police arrived on scene responding to a call from a woman saying that a crow had been on Rope Ferry Road performing somersaults for several hours. Upon investigation, police found “no sign of a weird crow.”

...yea...

That's fantastic. Crows. They mean death, or maybe that's ravens or maybe that's when they;re circling, not somersaulting...

noooooo but I thought the D had integrity and was a legitimate source of news :(

I still believe the thing about the crow, though. I could totally see H-Po showing up to investigate a somersaulting crow.

Considering that summer seems the only time that some of the Ropes Ferry houses are inhabited, I suppose it's possible. Still, wow Hanover. Wow. (or possibly wow to people making stuff up)

Nice.

I remember my hometown police blotter recounting an incident wherein the police were called in to investigate "a bucket of clams that had gone bad."
