Oh, Goddamn, word to THAT.

Here's my prediction: When she gets hit with facts she knows nothing about, she'll jump to a sound bite or two or three hundred and get the Repubs all fired up again.

I don't know Biden very well so I echo your statement: He'd better not screw this up.

I didn't know him before the nominees debated, but I really grew to respect and admire him then. He is so blunt, though, and outspoken, that its terribly easy for him to put his foot in it. I just hope that doesn't happen tonight.

I'm sure as long as she sticks to her talking points, she'll do fine. What I want to see is Biden or even Ifill challenge her to expand on them, and see how well she does when she's forced off her memorized answers.

Of course, the danger is equally great for Biden in such territory. That's when the chances increase that he'll say something off the cuff and screw everything up.
