Enterprise Fiction. Archer/Reed

Well it has taken me a while but I have finally finished something.

A while ago the_moonmoth wrote a beautiful fic called Moment and then mareel wrote "Moment's Reflection", then with a little proding I decided I would also give writing in the second person naritive a go.

Here is the result )

flist, slash, enterprise

Very nice. I'm not a big fan of 2nd person narrative, but you've done a good job with it here. It's not hokey or intrusive. I'll be reading this one again.

Glad you enjoyed my ficlet. I hadn't read any 2nd person narrative until I came across moonmoth & mareel's stories. It is an interesting change for me.

Do you know of any 2nd person narratives that fit your description of intrusive? I would be interested to read them from a newbies point of view.

Not off the top of my head. Trying to cast my mind back, I'm getting vague impressions of ready them over at fanfiction.net, which generally lacks quality in any case (although I have found some good stuff). I can't even remember the fandom I was looking for at the time.

I'm sorry I'm not being more helpful. I'll look around, and see what I can find.

I appreciate anything you can find. I guess most people have come across this style of writing before but as a newbie I am genuinely interested in learning a little more about it.

Thanks in advance for anything you find.

There are no scars to show the hurt you caused, only the lingering memory of each and every one.

I love this line. It tugs at my heart.

This is beautiful bit of writing.
