I loved that place! bridgetmae March 31 2007, 14:33:23 UTC
It was here my love for cows began. It was here I learned to fear the large pink rabbit which inhabited the backroom of our cabin. It was here my life flashed before my eyes as Chris drove the golf cart head on towards a semi. It was here that sparklers could hold my attention for hours. It was on my way here that I almost peed my pants riding up with Uncle John because he bought me a big gulp of mountain dew, and I refused to let on that my tiny bladder couldn't handle it. It was here that I discovered that the best friends you'll find in life are those that you were born with, and are stick with for life. Chris, Kate, Margaux, Jake, Nick, Emily, Aimee, Meghan, Johnny, and Lizzie...I love you guys. Awesome post Kate.

Bridget - I think you've got it all wrong. We were never in danger of hitting a semi! We were however in danger of flipping the cart as I got it up on to two wheels after making a turn. Its still probably the closest call I've had to crashing any motor vehicle. Sorry about that!

Haha I forgot about the two wheel part. However, I have a clear memory of you heading straight for a very large truck. We were headed downhill and you were in the wrong lane. I believe your cart driving privelages were removed after that. It's possible that you blacked out the whole incidence. It's also possible that this was just a nightmare of mine after the two wheel episode.

THAT WAS A FABULOUS POST!! anonymous March 31 2007, 15:08:48 UTC
Kate!
I loved that post!!! YOu really worded that whole experience beautifully. I was supposed to be sitting here working this morning and I was totally transported back to the lake with the kittie cocktails and there was that restaurant that we always went too and the only thing that I ever ordered was grilled cheese sandwiches. They tasted so good there. I loved those times. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I love you guys!
LOve,
Aimee
