So how should Caribbean be pronounced?

I'm usually one to go with the pronunciation of the people from the region. It's, more or less, pronounced: Cow-rihb and that's about it. Most people seem to go with carry-bee-an

I agree that PotC isn't a trilogy. The 2nd and 3rd go together. The first is a stand-alone. Therefore, the three cannot be called a trilogy.

The 2nd one wasn't a continuation of the 1st one. But there is supposed to be a 3rd one and it's supposed to continue from the last one. The way they ended #2 you could see how they'd pick up with a 3rd movie.
Yes they had the same characters, same main characters anyway but it wasn't like you had to see the 1st movie to understand the 2nd. And that's what I don't like about series in general.
I've never seen any of the Star Wars movies, not even the new ones because I've never seen the originals....I don't think I'd know what was going on. Lord of the Rings - I don't really know that it's my kind of movie, seen 0 of those. What else? Rocky - I've seen one but I don't know which number it was. Indiana Jones - Saw some monkey brains...other than that...eh.

For the first 9one to feel complete, you do not need to see another one. However, for the second to make sense, you need to have seen the first. Go to and watch his review. He makes sure to not give any spoilers, but the part about there being more plot lines than pirates, and none finished up, is correct. There are more loose ends than in both the first two LotR films together.
