1:59 PM 7/24/08 · As I've noted many times, my Mom is the best cook/baker in the world. When other people are talking about how good their moms being great in the kitchen, whether they're aware of it or not, they mean mine. She is beyond amazing

I have a bunch of recipes for cake with strawberries. Also tell your Mom that the recent issue of Cooking Pleasure has a number of recipes using strawberries. If you want any recipes let me know and I'll email some to you.

Mom went with a 2 layer moist white cake, homemade whip cream, and strawberries added to it just before serving. Practically melted in our mouths.
