Last couple days I've been getting notifications in my inbox here about friends getting all sorts of awards...

Today my inbox has 71 notifications on that, including 1 in particular which was surprising in that as he hasn't been on LJ for several years.

Why are people with no longer active accounts getting awards?!?

I saw that too....one of my old accounts got one as well.

Good question, but also, why do journals that have not updated in years show up on the Top Daily Journals list?

The rank is the account, the only thing left here. I also used to know hundreds of people here, but now just a couple of them pop up over here once in a while. It's a zombie social network nowadays.
