I am too stupid to live...

6:07 AM 9/22/06 · What's on the agenda today? Well, it seems that nice, drunk, lady I met this past Wednesday gave me a little present. I've got the stuffy nose, crud in throat building up, very aware of my joints, brains feels like it's trying to drill out through the roof, and there's the fever...which is a ( Read more... )

So you kissed that woman and you couldn't feel her tongue at all? Did you like this kind of kiss?

I like all kinds of kissing...though at the time, sleepy me was wondering how she managed to chat so well without it.

I "stretched" in there a bit and had no joy in finding it. Maybe it retreated...

When it comes to mouth-to-mouth kisses, I prefer there to be some tongue action involved. But I have a friend who hates kisses with tongues and they give the same sort of kisses that you had with this woman.

dood, I so feel your pain. You have da plague that's been going around. Eventually your lymph node will go down, but it takes time. Feel better *hugs*

If you are so sick, why are you still at work? texasts September 22 2006, 16:09:48 UTC
Man,
My co-workers would shove me out the door if I came into the office feeling the way you do! Get the hell outta there before you give it to every body else!

Go home and take drugs!

I have this policy...if I can get out of bed I can goto work. While admittedly, it took a lot of effort...

Yes, I understand that particular policy as I am like that myself.

But it tends to be overruled by an unwritten policy here in Cube City...If you are contagious...STAY HOME - So you don't give it to everyone else you come in contact with in your office. And they won't have to kill you for it.

And if you are displaying the symptoms as described, you are definitely able to give the contagion away.

long as a particular co·worker of mine is on that list I'm not bothered. Besides, this will help them be immune to this strain later.

Ah, one mystery solved! You wrote:

Before I got off work Thursday night, having a rapidfire chat through the keyboard, I told her I wouldn't be online again till probably Monday; didn't know I was sick at the time but I'd gotten it into my sleep hungry head that it was Friday yesterday. Didn't even realize it wasn't till I was heading down in the elevator.
Whoops!

I talked to Krystle on the phone this morning and reminded her that her friends, including you, are concerned about her and care about her, and she mentioned that you wouldn't hear her voice post this morning because you would be away from the computer until Monday. Now I know why she said that.
