Yesterday was the first day in three weeks I haven't been in pain. Hooray! My appetite finally came back and my kidneys don't hurt. I still have a low grade fever every once in a while, and accompanying chills. The physical side effects have not been too bad. Yay lack of pain!!!

Hang in there on the side effects. Knowing in advance can help fend off the worst by at least making sure you keep the objective third parties around for the worst of it.
