Fish and kidney pie

The bad news is that I have another kidney infection. I am completely exhausted, feverish, in pain, and have little appetite. After dealing with internists who shook their heads at me I went to a urologist today. Just wanted to make sure it actually is a kidney infection since I keep having clean urine cultures, and I don't ever care to repeat the ( Read more... )

I am also befuddled by people being surprised by your school schedule. It's a science degree, not an AA. And people always want to know "what are you going to do with it?" - sometime people are wondering about its fiscal "viability", sometimes they just want to know what exactly your degree name MEANS on a daily task sort of way. I got the same questions with my EnvEng degree, and J does with his Occupational Science degree.

I would be all about figuring out what the life cycles and ecological interdependencies are. I've done the "conservation" kind of thing as far as environmental cleanup and it's a paperwork/political/legalistic nightmare of not actually working with science. Blerg. But figuring out "how do these organisms/ecosystems *work*?" sounds fascinating to me.

Best of luck figuring out the health ick. My condolences!
