The other day I got to sit on interviews for 6 people being considered for the position of marketing director. I found the process surprisingly like dating, and wished it were that easy to choose a partner: person comes in, introduces themselves with name, background and relevant experience, then states their case in how they'd benefit you. Next was someone who was initially incredibly impressive, very confident, charismatic and personable.

Not nearly as hot. The scary thing is I think I find that character so damn hot because he's a psychopath. And the abs, man, the abs.

Confidence is key.

So true. I've been on many interviews and the key to landing the job isn't even how big your resume is or even that you are the best qualified. Its about how well you connect with your interviewers and how good you can make them feel about "buying" you. After all, interviews are about selling yourself.

And about dating, the same applies; nothing sexier than a super confident independent women IMO. And I know being confident works for me to get me dates.
