Oh god. I've spent a little over a week working out a list of case-law that's actually, you know, relevant to what I want to do. Blrrrgh. Lists upon lists of cases that I now have presorted into three categories: Relevant (90 cases), Possibly Relevant (62 cases), Not Relevant (293 cases). In other words, I have read 445 cases. Getting something down is awesome. (I'm finally finding good White Collar fic, which also is progress. *g*)

I (sort of) did, yes! Ctrl+F was my friend. When I say that I read all the cases, I actually mean that I read the summary and then did a Ctrl+F to find the relevant search term and figure out which context it had been used in.

Also, figuring out how to use two monitors at once, so that I could have my browser open on one and the spreadsheet on another. It's sad, but that simple little trick cut my work-time in half.
