I love Herbie Hancock, think he's very underrated and what not... but I'm sorry I think it's bullshit that he got album of the year. I think what they did with his win is to make up for old times when, perhaps, he should have won. I'm shocked that Amy Winehouse didn't honestly get the award because 1. I love every song on that album and that's rare & 2. EVERYONE loves her music. I have people who are in their 60s asking me for a copy and I insist that they go buy it.

I'm still surprised that Nirvana never got album of the year. Toto was a joke cause there were not EVEN 3 good songs on that album. Christopher Cross... well that guy fuckin rocked it on that album, it's a secret love of mine. But all in all, I still can't figure how they make their decisions for album of the year.

Oh and PS- I think it's BS Fiona Apple has never won Album of the Year for any of her CDs ;)
