Lol... Oh, life can be so funny... college life- now that's a different story. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm starting to get sick and tired of school... I like my classes and teachers fine, but it's... I don't know. Everything seems to rush up at me at one time. It could be because I don't prioritize, but that's a different story. To stay ( Read more... )

Yeah, dude, it happens. And it sucks. I'm in the same boat as you; wanting to be social, but needing to do work. I'm too lazy to do my work, but I have plenty of time to do what I want. :sarcastic arm swing: :sigh: Try the plan I'm attempting to set into motion: do your homework as soon as you get home; then you'll have time for whatever you want. I'm working on that, and it should work. Also, with the loneliness...I want it gone, as I know you do as well. Just hang in there, man. <3

Yeah... I'll try to hang in there... you do the same as well. I've been doing my homework more efficiently than what I've been doing, which is a plus, but you can't help everything... The only thing to do is hope that tomorrow is going to be better, I guess. Life is so great, hahaha...

All you CAN do is try, you cynical little pessimist.

You're progressing, at least. Remember when you didn't do your homework AT ALL? And you're studying now! Progress! Woo! If you don't allow yourself any recreational time, then you're going to end up defenestrating yourself at any given time. I know that being in college requires more of your time and effort...huuuuh do I know...but it doesn't require ALL of it.

As for the loneliness, it happens. *shrugs* It'll go away eventually, but until it does, we'll all be here for you. Remember, we're all doing this...uh..."growing up" thing together.

So tomorrow WILL be a brighter day for you...even if I have to haul the fucking sun to KWC and shine it in your face while you take your test.

^.^

Oh, Kevin. I didn't think you'd feel this way until midterms. It's tough. But, if my lazy ass did it, at Wesleyan, while working 50-weeks in a factory, and commuting 25 minutes, I KNOW you can. Hell, I managed to find time to max out two credit cards over two summers dancin' and drinkin' down at the Wild Hare Saloon, lol.

I agree with an above comment. You must make time for yourself. Schedule something to look forward to each week. Be in a play, go see movies, see your friends, or you /will/ think about giving up.

And think about all that money you'll be making, Dr. Kevin!

Awww... you guys... I'd give you all a great big hug if... this screen wasn't barring my progress. Ah, screw it... *hugs screen*
I'll be better, I promise. Oh! I took my test today... and I may have done better than I thought! But I won't get my expectations up... and another thing, I actually stayed awake in class! Both of them! I was so proud of myself... This "college" thing might not be so hard after all...

Too bad it will be, though. Lots of people call me cynical and pessimistic, when in fact... all I'm doing is looking at life for what it really is...
