Well for the page breaking size you could put it behind an lj-cut.

They are soo cute, but it sounds like a lot of work. I remember when the first cat I had had kittens, she was there to help but it was still lots of work to make sure they were healthy. Try and get yourself a syringe....they really help in feedings.

You most likely won't need to sex the calico kitten... that'll be a female. 99% of calicos are female. And she's soooo cute!
